Youth Development
In collaboration with Hong Kong Award for Young People, Seed Foundation, Cocoon Foundation, Just Feel, we have conducted research on the ToCs and program designs that aim to enhance teenagers and underprivileged youths' resilience, computational thinking, and life planning.
In-work Poverty
In collaboration with Oxfam Hong Kong, we have reviewed 7 programs that assist the working poor through enhancing employment services, employment protection, and community economy.

Welfare Provision in China
In collaboration with the Design Institute of Social Innovation of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University and Sun Yat-Sen University, we are exploring the modes of social governance, welfare provision and social innovation in Greater Bay Area.

We are starting the 2nd phase of impact research with Just Feel to track impact of the Compassionate School Programme which aims to enhance the social-emotional learning of primary school students in Hong Kong.
2. Place-based Solutions to Resilience and Sustainability
Rural Commons
In collaboration with MaD Institute and the School of Design of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, we have been exploring the conservation of cultural landscapes in the northern territories of Hong Kong and Tai O, and holistic approach to revitalization.
Urban Neighborhoods
In collaboration with Architecture Commons, and Social Ventures Hong Kong, we have started the journey of findings new ways to enhance community capacities and assets.

Built Environment
We have been conducting research on creating shared value (CSV) strategies and business model innovations in the real estate industry. Through mapping ESG practices and interviews with sustainability teams and CSR teams of developers in Hong Kong, we hope to inform holistic site-specific investment practices.

3. Ecosystem Building and Change Management
Social Enterprise Ecosystem
In collaboration with the JC Design Institute of Social Innovation of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University and the British Council, we conducted research on social and institutional factors that contribute to ecosystem development for social enterprises.
Pro-social Industry Practices
In collaboration with Happy Aging Lab and CareER, we have been studying their methods, strategies, and institutional work that re-shape ecosystems towards an aging-friendly housing industry and corporate diversity and inclusion practices in Hong Kong.

Change Management
In collaboration with Clean Air Network, we have researched their change management strategies (incl. training, behavioral nudges, tech sensor and solutions) to help middle schools become more capable of managing indoor-air quality and reduce health risks.
